Implant Dentistry

Implant dentistry falls into two very broad treatment modalities:
1. Surgical (placement of the implant into the jaw) and
2. Prosthetic (fabrication of the teeth that connect to the implant).

At Lower Columbia Oral Health & Center for Implant Dentistry we provide the full range of these services, from the single implant supported crown to full arch reconstruction with immediate loading (“Teeth in a Day”).

All of our implant cases are pre-planned via computer software linked to an onsite CT scanner. Our scanner is one of the most modern units available, delivering a very low radiation dose which is equivalent to a simple plain film (non digital) panorex.

In addition to his formal three years of post graduate hospital based residency and fellowship training, Dr. Haghighi has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education on the subject of implant prosthetics, implant surgery, and advanced tissue/bone grafting procedures.

Thank you for all your kindness and expertise in saving me from this dental nightmare I was facing. Trust me, I tell everyone who will listen what a great dental practice you offer and how you were such a great help to me.

~Deborah L.

Dr. Haghighi lectures at a national level on both implant surgery and implant prosthetics. He is a faculty member of Dental Implant Seminars. He is a clinical advisor for Dental Implant Specialties (a company which provides allogeneic bone grafting supplies and oral surgical instruments). He has authored articles on implant dentistry. Additionally he holds patents on several devices used for the correct spacing of dental implants during surgery.

Surgeries can be completed under conscious sedation (being partially asleep) at our office and general sedation (being completely asleep ) at the Pacific Surgical institute (PSI) and St. John Medical Center (SJMC). All general sedation cases are completed with an anesthesiologist.

Dr. Haghighi holds full implant surgical and augmentive grafting privileges at both the PSI and SJMC. He has also served as the past department chair of surgery at SJMC.

Because Dr. Haghighi completes all phases of dental implant treatment we can achieve the very best in treatment outcomes. Our fees tend to be substantially lower when compared to the same treatment offered in offices that would require two or three separate providers to complete care.
